Versions
ParaMind comes in Lite, Standard and Professional Versions for Windows. ParaMind also comes in a Standard Version for Mac and Linux that is slightly more powerful than the Standard Version for Windows.
ParaMind Lite will create brainstorms on your original text just like the ParaMind Standard version will. You simply type or paste in your sentence, select and follow the Merge Wizard, and get back up to 50 pages of your sentence changed in fascinating ways.
ParaMind Lite 3.1 has the same Word Category database as the ParaMind Standard and Professional versions. This is an added value that is new in ParaMind Lite 3.1. ParaMind Lite 3.1 includes a large manual, a Merge Wizard which takes out the learning curve, the Word Category Dictionary Editor, and a unique separate editing program called PM Select that lets you quickly copy and paste any text-format document in one movement of copy and paste. It will let you select blocks of text not next to each other which other text editors do not allow you to do. ParaMind Lite 3.1 also comes with a special dictionary printer so you can have a hard copy of these unique Word Categories.
The difference between ParaMind standard and ParaMind Lite is the Standard and Professional ParaMind versions use different techniques which produce larger merges in a shorter amount of time. The Professional Version also makes this process totally automated. The Standard version will produce a fifty-page or greater output of your sentence in as little as twenty seconds.
In ParaMind Lite 3.1, the user looks through the Word Category database for the words they want to brainstorm on. In the ParaMind Standard and Professional versions, the programs can do it for you automatically or you can also do it yourself.

Professional Version for Windows
With our top-of-the-line version of the ParaMind Brainstorming program, the idea-generating power is now totally automated to allow you to create instant ideas from your sentences by pressing one button. You create many more ideas by creating much larger "merges" of ideas.
A maximum of twenty-five Word Categories can be now be selected for a Large Simple or Complex Merge compared to only two in the earlier versions. The ParaMind Professional Version allows multiple windows to be open at a time, creating a separate window for each merge and displaying the results of the merge in a new window. The number of Word Categories you can have in a single directory has been expanded to 1250 in the Professional version.
What we did with the ParaMind program was to imitate what an intelligent thinker does when they consider every option to a problem. Their mind goes through many possibilities while a less intelligent thinker can only think of a few. There have been no other brainstorming programs that can give relevant feedback on your sentence in thousands of combinations of ideas like ParaMind can.
